About Us
Who We Are
Nothing fancy..... just a great place , nice and clean, to relax, be still and talk with God. The retreat is away from the crowds up a mountain side, but with easy access to town. The upstairs of the house is ready for guests. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, a kitchen, living room with gas fireplace, screened porches, and laundry room . It sleeps 6 comfortably.
Our Mission
To provide a place available to all Christians to be still and renew and enhance their relationship with God. We operate on a donation basis and welcome you to visit us in Murphy. NC.. call/text 321 208 1454 for information and availability.
Beautiful in Spring
with the blossoming of trees and flowers springing to life...
It is still a bit cool, but warms up nicely in the daytime...and a site to behold when everything begins to bloom.
Relaxing in Summer
with the green foliage of the trees...and sunny days...
Talk a walk, visit the many waterfalls, check out the nearby
Fields of the Wood Biblical Park. Sit on the porch in the evening and watch the fireflys light up the hillside.
Awesome in Fall
with the changing of the leaves .
Bring a light sweater / jacket for the cool fall temperatures .... think of bonfire and smores....around one of the two fire pits... plenty to do or just
sit back and chill and enjoy Gods' creation.
Stark in Winter
having lost their leaves, the hardwood trees are silouted against the sky, in expectation of new beginnings come spring.
Think of cozy nights around the living room fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate and good fellowship.

The basement is the owners personal living quaters when no one is visiting... if you desire privacy on the property, arrangements can been made for the owner to happily lodge elsewhere .
We are in the process of completing a small chapel suitable for private prayer, study or small group meetings.
